Roman Invasion

Who would have thought a roman invasion could be so much! Children handled a number of artefacts and experienced first hand what life must have been like for the ancient Britons. Year 4 met a 'roman soldier' and by the end of the day were faced with the decision of whether they should stand and fight the Romans as part of their tribe or become a soldier them selves. They especially loved the drill practice and marching in formation. Others were also impressed with the fantastic jewels, coins and weapons. If you are looking for an expert on Roman Britain look no further the year 4. Another brilliant day and wonderful partnership with the RAMM in Exeter.
