Spring term governor newsletter
Dear Parents and carers
We hope that you find our spring term governor newsletter informative. In this edition we want to share news from some of our portfolio leads, as well as some of our observed strengths this term.
Our thanks go to both schools’ PTA groups who continue to work hard to raise valuable funds for the schools. Also our on-going thanks to the parents and carers who play such an important part in your child’s education. It was great to see so many parents/carers at our recent parent meetings with 92% of parents/carers attending parent meetings at Woodbury Salterton and 87.5% parents/carers at Littleham.
We have submitted our three year financial plan and whilst we face on-going financial challenges, as do many schools, we have worked hard to ensure we have robust financial planning for this period across the federation, ensuring that we can continue to focus on improving pupil outcomes effectively. For details on how we use our Pupil Premium Grant please visit the school websites.
Whilst governors work away in the background to support the senior leadership team run your schools, we are interested to hear your feedback and welcome your contact. Should you wish to speak with a member of the governing body, please don’t hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Wishing you all a blessed Easter, and a good holiday; children, families and staff.
