Health & Well-being Week
18 June 2019

We had a yoga teacher come to teach us some yoga to exercise our bodies and relax our minds. She burned some incense and we were very excited to smell it. We performed yoga moves to nursery rhymes. We concentrated SO hard and really enjoyed it!

We also made smoothies and talked about how fruit and vegetables are good for our bodies and keep us healthy. We used all of our senses to explore the fruit and then we cut it up carefully and safely. We were amazed at how the fruit changed when we whizzed it up in the blender with the juice. We gave it a big thumbs up!

In the Summer Term we learnt about the animals around us. We started off at looking at Pets that we might see in our homes then, we had a think about the animals that might live in the wild around us. We have had lots of different animals visit us so that we can learn to use the vocabulary associated with them. We have learnt their names, learnt how to describe their features and we have learnt how to look after them. We have loved feeling the fur, the scales and the shells of the animals.
