At the Jubilee with Pebblebed Federation our approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs is supported by the Local Authority. We endeavour to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school. We consider ourselves to be an inclusive federation, ensuring that the needs of all pupils are met in a mainstream setting wherever possible. This is in partnership with the families having taken into account the voice of the child.
Our SENDCo is Carrie Goodwin. She is available by contacting the school office on 01395 266535 or by email on email@example.com.

Last month, the government published the SEND and Alternative Provision green paper. The green paper sets out its vision for a single, national SEND and alternative provision (AP) system that will introduce new standards in the quality of support given to children across education, health and care. It’s the result of a review, commissioned to improve a system that can be challenging for parents and carers to find and use the right support for their child.
There is a now a 13 week consultation about the green paper, which closes on 1 July 2022. Parents and carers are being asked for their views. So if you feel strongly about what’s in the green paper, or about how SEND services are funded and organised, this is your chance to have a say.
