Grouping and Sharing

Maths in year 2 has been all about grouping and sharing. The children have been thinking about whether you need to make groups or count groups. They have also worked very hard on how to show their thinking using real objects , drawings or representations of what they have used. The children enjoyed making up their own stories such as "10 teachers and 20 biscuits, how many biscuits will each teacher get ?"
